Welcome to the first annual AFTRLIFE DFW Producer Challenge. This is the time to show the DFW electronic music scene your skills in the DAW. We are excited to see fresh, creative, and unique approaches to what keeps the dance floor vibing all night. Ready to get started? Read the info below for rules, conditions, and entry.
- This challenge is for electronic music of any sub genre,
- Contest is for producers in the Dallas Fort Worth metropolitan area only.
- Participants must be 18 or older at the time of winner selection.
- Contestants must have an active Soundcloud account for submissions to be considered
- Submission must be an original production (No Remixes, Bootlegs, Mashups)
- Track should not contain any uncleared music/samples.
- Only 1 submission per artist
- Contest period is open beginning February 1st through February 28th. Any submissions entered after 11:59 PM on the last day will not be considered for the contest.
- Track should be submitted via the form below as a private soundcloud link using the artwork provided in the sample pack
- Any unique uses of any samples provided in contest pack (Click Here To Download) (Use of samples not required)
- Originality, complexity, and creativity
- Overall mix quality
- (1) Winner selected
- will have their track as an official release on AFTRLIFE Records with full campaign support.
- Headlining DJ slot for “Secret Door Sundays” at Bodega in Fort Worth.
- Heading slot at a DFW Rave Fam event.
- AND of course…..Bragging rights 😉
- (11) Runner up submissions
- will be selected for compilation album slated for 2023 release.
- 30 minute dj slot performing for the official producer challenge night at “The Move” hosted by DFW Rave Fam in Haltom City
